Mithril is a rare metal found in Mythos. It is well-known for its lightness and strength, but only a few examples of mithril artefacts can be found in Mythos.

While having twice the tensile strength of the strongest grades of steel, mithril weighs about a tenth of the weight of those materials, and has a lower fatigue cycle limit. It has a melting point of about 2,200 degrees centigrade and requires temperatures of 1,500 degrees centigrade to be worked.
For a metal, mithril is a very poor conductor of heat and electricity. However, it is vulnerable to magic.
