Chitukkin are a species of large insectoid from the Southern Jungles.
Physiology[]
Weighing up to 5kg, and covered in chitinous armour, the Chitukkin have large wings which are vibrated rapidly and produce a loud buzzing noise during flight. Each of their legs ends in a sharp point for digging into tree bark and attacking predators.
They are capable of communicating with each other using bioluminescence. A series of false eyes on their wings light up to communicate basic thing, such as 'predators approaching' or 'food present'.

Chitukkin eat fruit and small arthropods.
